Limerick Riddle for Kids

Whether blue, or brown, or white
I usually hide out of sight
Keep me safe for a while
And maybe you'll smile
When what's inside of me takes flight.

A Vintage Riddle Limerick - In Summer . . .

In summer much clothing I wear
Birds all love to nest in my hair
But when cold it grows
I throw off my clothes
